FAST DELIVERY

Since we have the capacity to make our own tooling, turnaround time at Erie Tool & Forge is extremely fast. You get your tooling rapidly -- when you want it -- so prototype parts, and production parts, are delivered quickly -- when you need them.

HIGH QUALITY

We also take quality very seriously. We have a detailed quality control program. We use a statistical quality control system -- complete policies and procedures -- to make sure every part we deliver meets or exceeds your specifications. We start our QC program from the moment a shipment of steel enters our yard. We inspect and sample the raw steel, the in-process product, and the completed steel. We code all our steel so we -- and you -- know exactly what's going into your product. We maintain comprehensive QC records. And because of our low overhead and efficient operations, you get this quality, in each part we produce, at a low price.

A copy of our quality assurance manual will be supplied on request.

SERVING A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIES

With five forging units, Erie can handle prototype to volume runs of parts ranging from a few ounces up to 40 pounds. Among the wide variety of parts made are tie down hooks for the auto industry, conveyor flight ends for mining companies, C-clamps for the hardware business, steering arms for the trucking industry, and chain components (hooks, links, chain, etc.) for farm implement, railroad and general industrial use. If it can be forged, we can produce it.

INCLUDING SECONDARY OPERATIONS

In our 20,000 square foot facility on 10 acres, in addition to forging, we also provide machining and other secondary operations. Drilling, face milling, threading, coining, cold trimming, and more are available. So, at Erie Tool & Forge, you get a complete one-stop source for forgings, all the way from tooling through finished parts.
